Below, we have several questions to prepare you for the pitch. Based on your situation only a few of your answers will end up as part of the pitch. But having considered the questions, you will have fully analyzed the opportunity and be ready to face questions that may arise. Please take our your notebook (or laptop) to write down notes as you answer these questions.
Step 1: Describe the problem or the opportunity
What motivated you to launch the idea? What is the key problem or need?
How long would it take?
Is anyone doing something similar?
Step 2: Define your solution
What is your solution to the problem?
Is what you are delivering different from what others are delivering?
How would the solution benefit the customers, save time, save costs, increase quality or generate more revenue? Are the benefits easy to see?
When would these benefits be delivered? How much would it cost?
Step 3: Describe implementation plan and risks
What are the key decisions that need to be made?
Who will do the work? (internal staff, consultants, suppliers, for example)
What are the major deliverables or milestones? When will they occur?
What are the key risks and how you are addressing them?
Step 4: Describe the support needed to ensure success
How do you plan to communicate and sell the project internally?
What opposition do you see?
Consolidate and present
Now that you have articulated a way to propose your project, please highlight the notes you find most essential for your presentation. These will be the most important points to present. Consolidate these key responses into one page. The visual of your storyboard in combination with your outline above will create a quick and powerful pitch.

2:00pm
botanical gardens hike + wrap up dinner
Before departure on Saturday, we'll take a long hike through one of the top ten North American gardens worth traveling for. It has 64 acres of jungle, river pools, an excellent restaurant, and great staff. This will be an opportunity to eat outside of our menu and enjoy some alcoholic beverages in celebration of our achievements during the week. Dinner and drinks are not included so come prepared with cash or credit card.
